Firstly congratulations on your engagement . Now the planning of your wedding begins, and one of the first things to do will be visiting wedding fayres for ideas and inspiration.

At The Earliest Opportunity

Once you are ready, you will need to book your hairstylist and make up artist at the earliest opportunity. Typically, brides will book at least a year in advance.

When you have chosen your hairstylist, it is recommended that you email pictures of styles you like to your stylist, that way your stylist will have an idea of what you are looking for.

6 Weeks to go

At this stage, a hair trial should be arranged. It is advised to have your headdress/veil with you to create the final look. We perform hair trials at the brides home and will spend as long as you would like us to, to ensure we have the perfect hairstyle. You are more than welcome to have as many hair trials as you wish at £40 per trial. (It might even be worth arranging a trial before a night out!). Trials are arranged on Friday's, Saturday's or Sunday's at your preferred time.

4 Weeks to go

Hair cut- If you wish to have your hair cut, this would be the time to do so. We will advise on how much should be cut according to the  hairstyle.

1 Week to go

If you wish to colour your hair, this should be done around one week before your wedding at your local hairdressers.

1 Day Before

You will need to shampoo and condition your hair a day before the wedding. This will give hair time to "settle" and help your hair to last all day. Hair that is too soft won't last. Also avoid using straighteners during this time as it can affect the final outcome. We strongly recommend not to wash your hair on the day of your wedding.

Your Wedding Day

The big day has arrived!  Make sure you are wearing a top that is easily taken off, (without pulling over the head) such as a shirt or a dressing gown.  Have all your hair accessories ready, then relax while we prepare you for your big day.
